Change how answers open

Open the Settings tab to control how visitors read your answers.

Your choices

• Expand/Collapse Behavior
  • Click to expand: visitors click a question to open its answer. Best for long lists.
  • Hover to expand: the answer opens when the mouse moves over it.
  • Always expanded: every answer is visible, nothing to click. Best for short lists.
• Expand all by default: starts with every answer open.
• Trigger Icon: choose a chevron (›) or plus and minus (+ / −).
• Number the questions: adds 1, 2, 3 in front of each question.
• Columns: show questions in 1 to 4 columns. If your number of questions won't fill the columns evenly, the editor suggests a better number.

The preview on the right updates as you change each option.

Not sure what to pick?

For most sites, Click to expand with one column works well and is easy to read on a phone.

Remember to click Save, then Update if your site is already published.
